A Preble County man was arrested on Wednesday, March 19, after authorities searched a Lakengren residence and found over 200 pounds of marijuana.

Mark Sekse was arrested after the Preble County Sheriff’s Office and the Warren County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at his residence located at 23 Shield Drive.

Items seized from Mark and Debbie Sekse’s home included an excess of 200 pounds of marijuana, digital scales, weapons, and several vehicles. The search was a result of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. Mark Sekse is known to have an extensive criminal history, and has admitted to distributing large quantities of marijuana for at least 10 years, according to Drug Task Force officials.

Mark Sekse was arrested and taken to the Preble County Sheriff’s Office. He has been charged with possession of marijuana. Additional charges are to be expected as the investigation in Ohio and Indiana unfolds, officials said.

Assisting agencies include the Warren County Tactical Response Unit, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (Dayton Resident Office and Indianapolis, Indiana Office), the Richmond, Indiana Department, and the Wayne County Indiana Sheriff’s Office.
