TCN Veteran’s Day Program
The Tri-County North Local School District will hold their annual Veteran’s Day Program on Friday, Nov. 7, at 1 p.m. in the high school gym at Tri-County North. The school invites all veterans and their family members along with active and retired military to join in for a celebration with music, poems, and other activities where students will pay tribute to the veterans. The Finance Committee of the Preble County Board of DD will meet on Monday, Nov. 3, at 3:30 p.m. in the board large conference room located at 200 Eaton Lewisburg Road, Suite 201, Eaton, for the purpose of discussing our non-profit housing contract, employee health insurance, and any other business that comes before the committee.
The Preble County Board of Developmental Disabilities will conduct a Public Hearing on its Annual Action Plan on Monday, Nov. 24, at the Board Administrative Offices, from 9-9:30 a.m. “The intent of the hearing is to obtain public comment and input on the proposed plan, including annual goals and objectives,” said Superintendent, Diane Knupp. All attending will be allowed to make oral or written comments. Each person presenting oral testimony will have a limitation of five minutes.
Copies of the proposed plan will be available prior to the hearing at the Preble County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 200 Eaton Lewisburg Road, Eaton.
CC meeting changed
The Board of Education of the College Corner Local School District has changed the meeting date for the month of November 2014. The meeting was originally scheduled for Monday, Nov. 10, 2014 at 6 p.m. in the board of education office at the College Corner Elementary School at 230 Ramsey Street, College Corner, Ohio. The meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, Nov. 17, 2014 at the same time and location.
The annual report of the Preble County Housing Authority for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2014 has been completed and is available for public inspection in the Community Action Partnership of the Preble County Office, 308 Eaton-Lewisburg, Rd., Eaton, between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. A copy of the report can be provided upon request.

Beginning Oct. 6, 2014, Weist Road will be closed between Wolverton Road and State Line Road for approximately 6 weeks for a complete bridge replacement. This closure will begin at Box # 8381 and end at Box # 8662 and is scheduled for completion on Nov. 15, 2014. This will be closed to all traffic. The Policy Review Committee of the Preble County Board of Developmental Disabilities will meet on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m., in the Board large conference room located at 200 Eaton-Lewisburg Rd., Suite 201, Eaton, for the purpose of reviewing changes in policy.
Parkinson’s Support Group
