NEW PARIS — Preble Players will present “On Golden Pond” by Ernest Thompson on Saturday, June 3, and Sunday, June 4, at 2 pm. Directed by Bonnie Bertelson, this American classic is staged outdoors, surrounded by nature, using the pond at Camp Mahanaim in New Paris as a backdrop.
West Alexandria hosts Ole Fashioned Jamboree
The West Alexandria Celebration Committee hosted its first Ole Fashioned Jamboree in 43 years, beginning Wednesday, April 26, and ending Saturday, April 29. The event hosted food vendors, a car show, a parade, rides and a ferris wheel. Food vendors for the event included Grein’s Sausage Grill, Shelby’s Sweet Shop, Kirby’s Candy Wagon, FattyDaddy’z and Frontline Coffee.
MU student film set in downtown Eaton to be shown

Brass band returns
EATON — In what has become a tradition with the Eaton Area Community Band, the group will once again share a concert with the Ohio Valley British Brass Band. The free concert will take place on Friday, May 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Eaton Community Schools Performing Arts Center.
