OXFORD — The P.E.O. Chapter CB of Oxford awarded Carrie Stirn, of Liberty, Indiana the P.E.O. Continuing Education (PCE) grant of $2,200 from the P.E.O. International organization.
P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization supporting women in higher education. To receive the PCE grant the candidate must be enrolled in a certification or degree program; had at least 24 consecutive months as a non-student sometime in her adult life; and be within 24 consecutive months of completing her educational program which, at the conclusion, will lead to employment or job advancement. Carrie Stirn, currently a nurse at McCullough Hyde-TriHealth, will complete her Master’s Degree and be licensed as a nurse practitioner at the conclusion of her studies.
