March Homeschool Hour to feature brains

0

EATON — Throughout the school year, the Eaton Library presents Homeschool Hour, a monthly education program for area homeschool students and their educators. In March, the library will host a special guest for the lesson on brains.

Dr. Patricia Schiml, psychology professor at Wright State University, will present this special Homeschool Hour lesson on Wednesday, March 15 at 3 p.m. at the Eaton Library, located at 301 N. Barron St. She’ll bring real brains for students to check out, and students will learn with models and activities. Don’t miss out on this special opportunity!

Also of note for homeschool students: beginning in April, the Homeschool Hour program will be changing. Instead of one monthly program, the program will be repeated twice. The April program, which will focus on drawing with perspective, will be at the Eaton Library on Wednesday, April 19 and Wednesday, April 26, at 3 p.m. both days. Please register for one of those dates by calling 937-456-4331 or sign up in person at the Eaton Library.
