WEST ALEXANDRIA — Author and motivational speaker Randy Overbeck will join Preble County Retired Teachers Association members at the Sept. 8 meeting, as he presents “Teachers:The Real American Heroes.”

Jenny McCarty from the Once Around Shop will also speak.

The group will meet at noon at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 2139 Enterprise Rd., Ingomar. Lunch will feature a homemade meal of pork roast, dressing, corn, seven-layer salad, pie and beverage, for $10. Reservations are due by Sept. 4 to dpmeeks @embarqmail.com.
