Spaghetti Dinner: Tickets are still available for Camden Somers Fire Department’s “Fazoli’s” Spaghetti Dinner to be held on Sunday, April 9, from 2-5 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for children 3-12 a $2.50 for children under 3. See any firefighter or stop by the station for tickets.

Bicentennial: Both Gratis and Camden are planning their respective town’s upcoming bicentennial celebrations and are looking for help to make them a success. If you would like to help or have items or memories you would like to contribute stop by the respective town offices for more information. Gratis is 2017 and Camden is 2018.

Fire: An out of control burn which spread to outbuildings was reported this past week in the 4100 block of Platt Road . Fire equipment from West Elkton-Gratis Township, Gratis, Camden and Wayne Township fought the blaze for several hours before a piece of equipment was called in to bury it. No injuries were reported.

Painting fun: There will be an adult tee shirt the tie-dye activity at the West Elkton Library, March 23, at 4 p.m. Bring your white shirt and all other supplies will be furnished.
