LEWISBURG — The Preble County Park District has three programs coming up in June.

The first is the return of Terri Mann on Saturday, June 3, at 1 p.m. She will be giving information about what equipment is needed to photograph the total solar eclipse coming in August. She is famous for her photography and knowledge of astronomy and will share some of her photographs and tell us how to take our own photos of the eclipse. We are hoping that she will also bring back her solar telescope so we can actually look at the sun.

On Wednesday, June 7, from 1 to 3 p.m. we will have an Unbelievable Bubble Bash. Attendees will learn about bubbles in nature, surface tension, water skin and other fun bubble science. There will be books and activities related to bubbles available. Kids of all ages are welcome.

Saturday, June 24, from 7 – 9 p.m. we will have an Evening with Eric and Earl. Loy, professional guitarist from Lewisburg, will entertain us with his music which will include his 24-string harp guitar. Earl Pitts will contribute his incredible voice with songs from the 60s and beyond. Bring a lawn chair and join us for the evening.

All the programs are located in the Garber Nature Center at 9691 Ohio 503 North, Lewisburg. Meet in the Mary Hayes Pavilion off the main parking lot. We do not cancel for rain. Dress for the weather. RSVPs are appreciated, but not required at 937-962-5561. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
