EATON — Birthday Bash: Come celebrate all July birthdays on Wednesday, July 19 at 1:30 p.m. at the senior activities center.

Raffle: This is the last season to buy your raffle ticket for the 2006 Harley Davidson Motorcycle. This Harley has less than 5,000 miles on it, and a 2 into 1 Vance & Hines Exhaust Performance Pkg. Thanks to Jim of Eagle Fence Company for donating the profits from the raffle sales to us. Tickets can be purchased at the Twin Valley Bank in West Alexandria, or call 937-839-4628. The auction is Aug. 5.

Purse Auction: Don’t miss this FUN fundraiser. Stop in for free ice cream soda, and bid on a few snazzy accessories! We will be auctioning off purses, jewelry, and scarves on Friday, Aug. 25 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at The Grange. All monies raised go toward PCCOA activities and programs.

Reds’ Night Game: We have tickets available to see the Cincinnati Reds play the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday, Aug. 22. This is a night game. Seats are along the third base line, under a roof, in the shade and out of the rain. Tickets are $69 for members, $79 for non-members.

Gettysburg: A battlefield shrine to Union & Confederate soldiers, plus “Jonah” at the Millennium Theatre, and so much more. This is a 4-day, 3-night trip to Gettysburg, PA. Stop in or call for more details. The last day to register is Aug. 12, packages as low as $608, the trip is scheduled for Sept. 26-29, 2017.

Rising Star Casino: The Rising Star Christmas Casino will be transformed into a dazzling winter wonderland of enchanting scenes. Featuring animated figures, hundreds of props, the 12 days of Christmas, and more. You will receive $20 in FREE money. WACO Field: The WACO Aircraft Company was the largest manufacturer of civil aircraft in the country in the late 1920’s and early 30’s. The museum is dedicated to the plant and employees that made it great. Join us on this trip on Tuesday, Oct. 24. $27 for members, $37 for non-members.

Art Lab: Stop in and paint a ‘summer flower’ on canvas with us. This class is led by a professional art teacher from the Preble County Visual Art Center.

Senior Day: Wednesday, Aug. 2 is Senior Day at the Preble County Fair. The PCCOA will be providing rides from PCCOA to the front gate of the fairgrounds.

Christmas in July Pledge Challenge: During the Christmas Holidays the PCCOA gives Holiday Food Baskets to our seniors in need within Preble County. All monetary donations received allow the PCCOA to add items to the holiday baskets, like dairy products, meat, fresh fruit and vegetables. For the month of July, the first 20 people to make a monetary donation, who have never donated to the holiday baskets before, will be matched by an anonymous donor. This pledge match is only for the month of July, stretch your dollars and donate today! You can stop by the senior center or mail your check in to 800 East St. Clair St., Eaton, OH 45320. Please designate “Holiday Baskets” on you check.
