PREBLE COUNTY — 4-H Syndicate 4-H Club met at Remagen on Saturday, April 25, for their second meeting of the year.

The meeting was called to order by former President Aryn Landes and opened with prayer with 11 members present. Secretary and treasurer reports were read from the previous meeting. Old business included passing out 4-H books and discussing time management of member projects.

New business included electing new officers for 2015. They are as follows: President Aryn Landes, Vice President Renee (Pickle) Halsey, Treasurer Katie Millhouse, Secretary Wendel Webb, News Reporter Elliana Hurst, Health/Safety Nolan Hale and Brenden Webb, Recreation Maria and Marlee Kern.

Adivsors Nancy Landes and Ann Kern explained the importance and expected contribution of each office. Also under new business the club brainstormed and tossed around possible summer activities, service projects and goals for the year. Other important things discussed were Goat/Sheep weigh in and tagging, an upcoming poultry swap, “Goat camp,” scheduling to get the skillathon boxes for a future meeting, Quality Assurance dates, and future dates of club meetings.

The next meeting will be Thursday, June 4, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the Landes house.

A big “thank you” goes out to Remagen and the Hale family for providing the club’s meeting place and snacks for the second meeting in a row.
