EATON — Jim Favorite, Commander with the American Legion Post 215 in Eaton, recently made a donation of $1000 to the Meals on Wheels Program at the Preble County Council on Aging. When asked why they donated, he replied, “Helping people by feeding seniors seems like a win-win.” The COA thanks Favorite and the American Legion for helping eliminate senior hunger in Preble County. The PCCOA continues to have seniors on its waiting list to receive hot nutritious meals, and this donation will help fill the gap, according to officials. Pictured are Shelley Ratliff, PCCOA Executive Director, Favorite and Ashley Workman, PCCOA In-Home Services Manager.
