Camden Church will be an Operation Christmas Child receiving point

Through Monday, Nov. 20, the First Southern Baptist church in Camden will be a receiving point for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Participants may drop boxes off during the week to make a difference in a child’s life.

Griefshare: Surviving the Holidays in Camden

No matter how long it’s been since your loved one has passed, grief can make the holidays a painful time. But there’s hope. Griefshare invites the public to join in and beencouraged to survive the holidays and discover new reasons to enjoy them again. The program will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 9-11 a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church of Camden, 35 N. Thanksgiving Supper

The Eldorado United Methodist Church is having their annual Thanksgiving Supper on Nov. 18 at 4:30 p.m. The menu consist of turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, ham loaf, chicken and noddles, green beans, corn, cranberry salad, apple salad, rolls, pies, cakes, and drinks.

The bazaar table will have lots of crafts and goodies for purchase. Music played by organist Sharon Hopper.

Awana Bible Club

Awana Bible Club for Kids is held each Wednesday night at First Southern Baptist Church of Camden, 6:30-8 p.m. at 35 N. Liberty St., Camden. Call 937-452-7291 for additional information.

Visitation CC Dinner

Visitation Catholic Church, BVM, 407 E. Main Street, Eaton, will have its monthly Community Dinner on Thursdays, Nov. 30 and Dec. 28. There is no charge for the meal which is served from 4-5:30 p.m. in the church hall. Those who attend should use the entrance off the parking lot. Everyone is welcome. The church hall is handicap accessible. For information call 456-3380.

CUMC breakfast

Camden United Methodist Church’s “All You Can Eat Breakfast,” will be held the fourth Saturday of every month, 7-11 a.m. Cost is $6.

Free Breakfast with Santa

Eaton United Methodist Church is holding a Free Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 9-11 a.m. The event will be held at the church, located at 120 N. Maple Street in Eaton. There will be pictures with Santa, cookie decorating, and Christmas Carols.
