EATON — Holiday hours: We will be closed Jan. 1.

Mindful Chats: Join Megan, a licensed social worker every Thursday at 9:30 a.m. She is a crisis therapist for Preble County with Samaritan Behavioral Health, and will be here providing referrals for individual therapy or simply a listening ear.

Bowling: We will head to the bowling alley Thursday, Jan. 2 at 11 p.m. Call ahead to reserve your spot, there is a cost for this event, 937-456-4947.

Breakfast Bingo: Breakfast and Bingo is happening on Friday, Jan. 3 at 9 a.m. at The Grange. Thanks to Maple Gardens for sponsoring.

Government representative: A government representative will be at the senior activities center two time each month to answer any questions or concerns from the community. The first Friday of each month is Todd Smith, and the third Wednesday is a representative from Warren Davidson’s office, both at noon. In January the dates are Jan. 3 and Jan. 22.

Monthly activities: In honor of our January’s theme of “Self-Care,” stop in and participated in our Self-Care activities: Monday, Jan. 6, ‘What is Self-Care,’ Friday, Jan. 10, ‘Create a Self-Care Calendar, Monday, Jan. 17, ‘What do you Enjoy?,’ Monday Jan. 20, ‘Finding your Hobby’, Friday, Jan. 21, ‘Complete one thing off your ‘to do’ list,’ Friday, Jan. 31, ‘What did you do for Self-Care?’ All classes are at 10 a.m. at the senior activities center.

Writing Series: Edison State is offering a 6-week writing series at the senior activities center beginning on Monday, Jan. 6 at 3 p.m., cost is $10 per class. Pre-registration is a must by calling 937-456-4947

2020 Travel Presentation: Join us Feb. 18 at 1:30 p.m. for our annual PCCOA 2020 Travel Presentation. We will humorously share with you all the fantastic trips that we have planned for 2020! Light refreshments will be provided.

Branson, Missouri: We have a few spots open for this 5-day, 4-night fun, food, and music adventure through Branson, Missouri. $100 deposit due upon signing up, call 937-456-4947 with your questions, and to sign up.

Hard Rock/ Jack Casino: Travel with us to Cincinnati in March for this adventure to the casino (which has poker). Cost from members is $35 and non-members is $50. Call to register 937-456-4947.
