Second ‘Tuesdays in Town’ planned in village

WEST ALEXANDRIA — The first “Tuesday in Town” on June 28, was a great day in West Alexandria, according to organizers. The event was well attended. Many requests were made to repeat the experience, officials said, so, the merchants of West Alexandria have once again planned an interesting, relaxing day

The next “Tuesday in Town” is planned for Tuesday, July 26. The day begins at 11 a.m. at The Ivy Parlor Gift Shop. Lunch at noon at the Twin Creek Tea Room. The Enchanted Peasant will offer craft demonstrations at 1 p.m. Pick up dessert at Bratt Tasties at 2 p.m. before taking in a furniture painting demonstration at Main Street Jack’s. Dinner will begin at 4:30 p.m. at Buckeye Jakes. Reservations are required.

The cost is $5 per person to register. Funds from registration will be used to defray expenses of advertising. Leftover funds will be used to purchase school supplies for needy students at Twin Valley South Elementary. All food costs and other purchases will be paid by the user at individual businesses. Reservations are required and may be made by calling 937-839-5094. Registration cost is to be paid at time of registration (credit card accepted over the phone or can be paid if registering in person at Twin Creek Tea Room.)
