EATON – First Presbyterian Church in Eaton will host a blood drive Thursday, Dec. 1, from 1-7 p.m. in the Social Hall, 123 W. Decatur St.

Community Blood Center is thanking donors with the “Buckeye Strong Blood Donor” ceramic coffee tumbler, free to everyone who registers to donate. Donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment online at www.DonorTime.com or call 1-800-388-GIVE.

November is when college football championships are made and CBC is celebrating with the “Buckeye Strong Blood Donor” ceramic tumbler with removable silicone grip. It’s free to anyone who registers to donate through Saturday, Dec. 3, at any CBC Donor Center and most CBC mobile blood drives.

The holiday period can be a challenging time for maintaining the area blood supply. If one must miss an appointment to donate they are asked to reschedule when they can. The CBC especially encourages the continued support of type O whole blood donors and type A/B platelet and plasma donors.
