Dunk & Donate to benefit program The Fraternal Order of Police Floyd E. Spitler Lodge #158 will be having its first-ever "Dunk n' Donate" fundraising event on Saturday, July 31.
The dunk tank will be set up at the Preble County Fair during the hours of 3-5:30 p.m. to raise money for the lodge's "Cops and Kids" Christmas program. Several elected officials and Eaton City Schools Superintendent Brad Neavin will be sitting on the tank during the event.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward assisting Preble County children/families with purchasing clothing, jackets, socks, underwear, and other essential items they may need during the Christmas season. No one needs to be reminded this is a tough time for everyone, and any donation will go toward a family in need and will be greatly appreciated.

Sitting on the tank and the hours will be: 3 p.m., Clerk of Courts Chris Washington; 3:30 p.m., Prosecutor Martin Votel; 4 p.m., Sheriff Michael L. Simpson; 4:30 p.m., Eaton City Schools Superintendent Brad Neavin; 5 p.m., Auditor Mindy Robbins; 5:30 p.m., Commissioner Chris Day.
