Dawn Marie Folkerth, 37, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Saturday, May 29, 2010, at her residence.
She was born March 23, 1973, in Dayton, Ohio. She was a LPN at BrookHaven in Brookville, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her son, Eli John Folkerth, in 2007; grandparents, Harold and Rosalie Vandemark Sr., and Howard Garner.
She is survived by her husband of five years, Brian D. Folkerth; parents, Harold E. Jr. and Teresa (Garner) Vandemark of Lewisburg; grandmother, Bertie Mae (Studebaker) Garner of Lewisburg; sister, Melissa (Aaron) Salyers of Lewisburg; brother, Chad Vandemark of Lewisburg; father- and mother-in-law, Mic and Kathy Folkerth of Englewood Ohio; sister-in-law, Rachel Folkerth, and her son, Ben of Englewood; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 3, at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, with Pastor Mark Ballard officiating. The family received friends on Thursday, June 3, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Eva Fern Brandenburg, 94, formerly of West Elkton, Ohio, died Monday, May 31, 2010, in Greenville, Ohio. She was born in Preble County, the daughter of Albert and Vada (Parrish) Brandenburg. Private funeral services were held. Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Gratis, Ohio, was in charge of arrangements.

Lowell C. Woods
Lowell C. Woods, 86, of Greenfield, Ohio, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 1, 2010, at Riverside Hospital.
Born Aug. 23, 1923, at home in Bowersville, Ohio, he was the son of Clarence and Ethel Cline Woods. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1941 and completed farm engineering and management courses from La Salle University. He was a lifelong farmer, loved to hunt and loved creating his "junk art" from used farm machinery.
He was a 4-H advisor for 62 years and was instrumental in beginning the 4-H Chuck Wagon at the Fayette County Fair. He was a Boy Scout leader; a member of the Good Hope UMC, where he served in many capacities; was a member of the Jamestown Masonic Lodge for over 60 years; and also served as a trustee for Buckskin Township for 16 years. A World War II Army veteran, he served as a staff sergeant, stationed in the South Pacific, Philippines Okinawa and Korea. He served on mission trips to Honduras and had also traveled to Israel.
Lowell is survived by his wife of 62 years, Velma Ellis Woods; daughter-in-law, Jonna Woods of Jamestown, Ohio; daughters, Phyllis Rea of Greenfield, Ohio, Tricia (Steve) Shepherd of West Alexandria, Ohio, and Nanci (Bill) Sexten of Washington Court House, Ohio; grandchildren, Steve and Marie Lily, Brad and Nicki Woods, Jason and Krissi DeHaven, Michael and Angie DuVernay, Mark and Michele Snider, Matt and Brenda Shepherd and Trisha Shepherd, Joshua Shepherd, Benjamin and Isaac Shepherd, Justin and Julie Sexten, Daniel and Alison Smith, Larry and Jenna Pol, and Austin and Andrea Sexten; 14 great-grandchildren; a special friend and co-worker of 30 years on the farm, Bruce Morris; and Lowell's dog, Tuffy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Perrlll Woods and David Lowell Woods; grandson, Nathaniel Lowell Shepherd; and son-in-law, Eddie Rea.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 5, at Good Hope United Methodist Church, followed by a noon luncheon at the church, and burial at 2 p.m. at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Bowersville. Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Friday, June 4, at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, Ohio, followed by Masonic services at 8 p.m.

Rose M. Anderson
Rose Marie Anderson, 84, of Crossville, Tenn., formerly of Preble County, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville.
She was born Feb. 8, 1926, to Oda M. and Lucy Mae Stephens in Stearns, Ky. Before retiring, she worked as a clerk, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Crossville. She enjoyed ceramics and Kentucky basketball.
Memorial services for Rose Marie were at 2 p.m. Friday June 4, at the First United Methodist Church, with John Halliburton officiating. The family received friends Friday June 4, at 1 p.m. Arrangements were by Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc, Crossville, Tenn.
Survivors include her loving husband, Byron Lewis Anderson; daughter, Lisa Geeding and husband Jeff; sister, Beulah Perkins of Chillicothe, Ohio; brother, Earl Dean Stephens of Monterey, Tenn.; grandchildren, Chris, Angie and Traci; great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oda M. and Lucy Mae Pennycuff Stephens; a son, Stephen Wayne Anderson; two brothers, James and Charles Stephens; and sister, Blanche Booher.

Darlene C. Hale
Darlene (Cole) Hale, 61, of Miamisburg, Ohio, and formerly of Germantown, Ohio, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010.
Darlene was born in Eaton, Ohio, on Oct. 13, 1948, to Leroy and Edith (Wall) Sheard. She was employed by DMAX and attended Community Harvest Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Darlene is survived by her companion, Jerry D. Branham of Miamisburg; two daughters, Sonda (Jay) McFarland of Hickory, N.C., and Angela (Donnie) Warner of Farmersville, Ohio; her son, John (Jerri) Klink of West Alexandria, Ohio, and her companion's son, Keith Branham of West Carrollton, Ohio; six grandchildren, Lindsey and Dylan McFarland, Austin Warner, Johnathan Smith, Garrett and Morgan Klink, and her companion's grandchildren, Cole and Lydia Branham; two sisters, Betty (Everett) Conger of Florida, and Donna (Bill) Hamilton of Indiana; three brothers, Dick (Faye) Sheard of Florida, Lee "Sonny" Sheard of Indiana, and Bob Sheard of Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
The family received friends from 6-7 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at Community Harvest Church, 6970 Weaver Road, Germantown, where the service followed at 7 p.m., with Pastor Duane Harney officiating. Dalton Funeral Home, Germantown, served the family.

Mary E. Aukerman
Mary E. Aukerman, 98, of Eaton, Ohio, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at her residence.
Born Dec. 25, 1911, in Butler County, Ohio, she was the daughter of Ernest and Cora May (Fornshell) Guiller. Mary sold Avon for 30 years and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Eaton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years, Clarence Elmer Aukerman, in 1996; sister, Helen C. Nelson, in 1995; and brother, Vernon A. Guiller, in 2004.
Mary is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene T. and Carol Aukerman, and Larry A. and Linda
Aukerman, all of Eaton; grandchildren, William Joseph (Rachel) Aukerman, Jonathan Brian

Frances P. Clark
Frances P. (Brawley) Clark, 86, of Eaton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton.
Frances was born Sept. 25, 1923, the daughter of Earl and LuLu Brawley. She worked as a machinist for Avco in Richmond, Ind., where she retired after several years of employment. She enjoyed watching her soap operas on TV, gardening, tending to her flowers, and helping out around the family farm.
She is survived by a stepdaughter, Pat Rautsaw; a niece, Jane Brawley; and two great-nieces, Kay Johnson and Kathy Brawley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin Clark; three brothers, Lee, Don and Lewis Brawley; three sisters, Maxine Emrick, Mildred Fleenor and Era Brawley; and a nephew, Paul Brawley.
A visitation for family and friends was held from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at Braund Funeral Home, New Madison, Ohio. A graveside celebration of life immediately followed at 2 p.m. in Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, with the Rev. Kathy Brawley, a great-niece of Frances, being asked to officiate.

Amy R. Lincoln, 91, of Eaton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 5, 2010.
She was born May 28, 1919, in Brookville, Ohio, to John W. and Elizabeth (Spangler) Gebhart. She was a member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren in Eaton, and the Women's Aglow Fellowship Group.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hubert L. Lincoln, who passed away Aug. 12, 1969; and son, Pfc. Gary G. Lincoln, who passed away Oct. 17, 1967, while serving our country during the Vietnam War.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Doyle (Connie) Lincoln of Paris, Tenn.; son, Robert Lincoln of
Eaton; daughter and son-in-law, LuAnn and Mike Loy of Eaton; grandchildren, Malia (Ryan Taylor) Rhodus, Kelly (Keenan) McKee, Amanda (Chris) Jimenez, Crystal (Todd) Appledorn, Amber (Scott) Lensch, Laura (Kevin) Ayers, Diana (David) Zerby, Lisa (Darren) Duncan, Gary (Amy) Lincoln, Marcy (Mark) Powers, Ryan (Jennifer) Lincoln, and Robert Corey (Carmen) Lincoln; 22 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and special friends, Al and Mary Lou DeVilbiss.

Ruth G. Doty, 96, of Eaton, Ohio, died Sunday, June 6, 2010, at Vancrest Health Care Center in
Eaton.
Born Aug. 28, 1913, in College Corner, Ind., she was the daughter of Henry and Hester (Grove) Strothman. Ruth was a 1931 graduate of Dixon High School and took art classes at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She was a member of the Price's Creek Church of the Brethren, West Manchester, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold H. Doty, in 2007; son, Gary Lee Doty in
1986; sisters, Mildred Aukerman in 1976, and Helen White in 1980; and brother, Henry Strothman in 2000.
Ruth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Cindy Doty of Huntsville, Ala.; daughter-
in-law, Jan Doty of Williamsburg, Ind.; sister, Violet Hammel of Lewisburg, Ohio; grandchildren,
Renee Doty of Williamsburg, Ind., Brian (Michelle) Doty of Richmond, Ky., and Gina Doty Waddle of New Paris, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Campbell and Matthew Doty of Richmond, Ky., and Chloe and Brenden Waddle of New Paris.

James F. Sanders
James "Jim" F. Sanders, 76, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, June 6, 2010. Jim passed away peacefully in his residence.
He was born in Xenia, Ohio, on Jan. 20, 1934, the son of James F. and Agnes Mary (Hughes) Sanders.
On June 22, 1987, he married Tina L. Briggs in Roundhead, Ohio, and she survives. He is also survived by sons, Danny J. (Melissa) Sanders of South Charleston, Ohio, Jonathan S. Sanders of Johnstown, Ohio; stepson, Scott Holbrook of Youngstown, Ohio; daughters, Rose L. White and Vicki Dover, both of South Charleston, Ohio, and Lisa K. Sanders of Springfield, Ohio; stepdaughter, Amanda (Rodney) Roush of Sidney, Ohio; brothers, Robert Sanders, Jack Sanders, Kenny Sanders, and Donnie Sanders, all of Xenia, Ohio, and Jerry Sanders of Jamestown, Ohio; brother-in-law, Lee Rausch of Missouri; sisters, Edith Wilson of Wilmington, Ohio, and Carol Cooper of Sabina, Ohio; several grandchildren, Brittany, Kelli, Christopher, Dylan, Savanah, Allison, Ashley, and Amanda; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jim retired from Super Foods, where he worked as a supervisor; and was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in the Korean War. He enjoyed farming, working with the farm animals, being outdoors, and was an avid fair-goer at the Hardin County Fair. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Family and friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 11, in the funeral home with David Holbrook officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center, Ohio. The Logan County Veterans Honor Guard will have a military service at the cemetery.
