Goodwill donation trailer to be available

EATON — A Goodwill Stores trailer will be parked in the former Kmart parking lot, 1705 Barron Street in Eaton, on weekends for collection of donation items.

An attendant will be at the trailer to accept donations and provide assistance and receipts on Saturdays and Sundays, from noon to 6 p.m. Residents are encouraged to take their donations to the trailer during these hours.

“We know that Preble County residents have limited attended donation locations locally,” said Kim Bramlage, retail donations manager for Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley. “We are happy to provide this opportunity and look forward to seeing folks at our donation trailer.”

Goodwill accepts donations of clean, gently-used clothing, furniture, housewares, small working appliances, computers and electronics (working and non-working). Non-acceptable donations include televisions, mattresses/box springs and large appliances. For a complete list of donation information, visit www.gesmv.org.

All donations will be processed and sold at local Goodwill Stores, with proceeds supporting more than 40 programs and services that build on the Goodwill Easter Seals mission of empowering people with disabilities and other needs to achieve independence and enhance their lives.
