PREBLE COUNTY — Learn how to start your family tree! You will learn genealogy basics, tips for a more efficient search, and forms for recording information, available sources for historical information, and electronic databases and organizations available to further your research. Join us Friday, June 30, at 1:30 p.m. at the senior center.

Closed July 4: The Senior Activities Center is closed Tuesday, July 4.

Therapist on Call: A Vancrest Physical Therapist will be here to answer any questions that you may have and offer tools in how to feel better. Stop in Wednesday, July 5, at 10 a.m.

Homemade Ice Cream: Join us at the senior activities center for homemade ice cream on Wednesday, July 5, at 1:30 p.m.

Bowling:

Fun Friday: Join us Friday, July 7, for F-U-N! The festivities begin at noon at The Grange, food is provided. Get your tickets ahead of time at the senior activities center. $3 members, $5 non-members.

New Outdoor Games: Beginning in July we have Corn hole, Croquet, and Horseshoes. See the Senior Scene Newsletter for specific days and times.

July 10-14: All Decade Diner food, meals, and activities will be at The Grange. We are getting new flooring in the diner during this time.

Bingo: Thanks to Maple Gardens for sponsoring our Bingo on Tuesday, July 11, at 2 p.m. at The Grange.

Self Defense Class: The Eaton Police Division will be teaching us self-defense on Friday, July 14, at 2 p.m. at The Grange.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren: Are you tired, worn out, and would appreciate a kind ear, friendly heart, and support for your Grand-parenting? Join us on either or all of these Friday, July 14, from 10-11 a.m., and/or June 23 and Aug. 11, from 1-2 p.m.

Legal Aid: Have you planned ahead for important decisions about your money, health, and property? If you become unable to make your own decisions or cannot handle your personal business, who will decide and act for you? Legal Aid of Western Ohio (LAWO) is offering free legal classes, and free legal clinics to help you plan ahead if you are age 60-plus. Classes will be held all five Wednesdays in August at 6 p.m. Call PCCOA at 937-456-4947 for more details.
