WEST ALEXANDRIA — The Twin Valley Business, Community, and School Partnership is planning for the annual Twin Valley Community Picnic. It will be held on Thursday, Aug. 10, from 4-8 p.m. in the Commons Area of Twin Valley South School. This will be the 26th year.

Since 1992, the Community Picnic has been bringing community members together to learn about local organizations and the school.

During the event, prizes are raffled off. These prizes are made possible by donations or discounted items from local businesses. The money from the raffle tickets subsidizes the cost of the food along with other expenses. By contributing, donors can help keep the picnic going.

The following to contribute:

•Donate for the door prize.

•Monetary or gift certificate donation for door prize.

•Monetary donation for operating expenses.

For businesses, the donations are tax deductible. Donors will be recognized throughout the picnic and on the donor wall.
