EATON — The Board of Developmental Disabilities has teamed up with Eaton Church of the Nazarene, Butler County ESC, and Preble County District Library for this year’s Track-N-Treat event.

Track-N-Treat provides a safe place and time for families and children of all abilities under age 10 to trick or treat. It’s held annually at the A.S.K. Playground at 1239 N. Maple St. in Eaton, and will run from 5-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24.

The Board of DD is still seeking candy donations for the event. Donations of Halloween candy can be dropped off at any Preble County District Library branch (in Camden, Eaton, Eldorado, New Paris, West Alexandria, West Elkton, and West Manchester) or taken to the Board of DD’s office at 200 Eaton Lewisburg Road in Eaton. The public’s help is necessary to keep this community event going.

This year’s event will also feature a petting zoo, hay rides, kids crafts, popcorn, fire trucks, and police vehicles. The rain date is Oct. 26.
