I am running for Gasper Township Trustee.
I have lived in Preble County all of my life, and Gasper Township for the last twenty five years. I live on a small grain farm in southern Gasper Township with my wife, Anitra and our two children.
I graduated from Eaton High School and Montgomery County Joint Vocational School in 1991.
I have been employed as a mechanic/truck driver for Hometown Fuels, formerly known as New Paris Oil, for twenty four years. My family attends First Southern Baptist Church in Camden. I am an active member of the Preble Shawnee Booster Club and also involve in the Preble County Junior Fair.
I have served as a Gasper Township trustee for the past 12 years. I am familiar with the current township budget as well as local government. Gasper Township is a fast growing area facing significant potential development. I believe it is important to serve our residents by keeping our communities safe and clean. I feel that it is critical to continue to grow our fire department and emergency medical services. Also, I feel it is crucial that we keep our roadways maintained. I hope to continue to serve the people of Gasper Township by keeping taxes down and working within our current budget.
The residents of Gasper Township will benefit by re-electing me as a trustee. I will continue to be hands on which saves the township money. I am able to do a lot of work without hiring outside help. Keeping taxes down is important and being a working trustee will help achieve this. Having grown up on a dairy farm, I definitely understand hard work and good work ethics. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve the residents of Gasper Township.
