PREBLE COUNTY — The Preble County Park District has two events coming up in July.

The first on Thursday, July 19, from 1-3 p.m., will be Read, Walk and Wonder. Read a book under a tree, grab a snack and do a craft project. Finish with a short walk in the woods and/or creek. Dress for hiking and possibly getting in the creek. Books and snacks will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Meet in the Garber Nature Center pavilion at 9691 Ohio 503 N., Lewisburg.

Saturday, July 28, from 7 to 9 p.m., the PCPD presents Rum River Blend in concert. Enjoy the guitars, banjo, mandolin and fiddle of Linda, Chris, Bill, Carl and Mark as they bring us a lively evening. Bring a lawn chair, clapping hands and tapping toes. This concert is free with donations welcomed. The concert will take place in the pavilion at 9691 Ohio 503 N. Lewisburg.
