Cargill gives to LACC food pantry

LEWISBURG — The Lewisburg Cargill Cares Committee donated $3,750 to the Lewisburg Area Council of Churches food pantry located at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg. Steve Hawley and Bryan Statzer of the Cargill Cares Committee said one of Cargill’s five goals is community enrichment. Statzer said keeping the money in local communities is important to the committee. The bank is for residents living within the Tri-County North School District and it serves about 85 families per month according to members of the LACC.
