PREBLE COUNTY — Single-lane restrictions will be in effect this month on Interstate 70 between U.S. 35 and U.S. 40 in preparation for bridge repairs.

The work which began Wednesday evening, Aug. 5, will continue throughout the month. I-70 will be reduced to one lane in either direction for crews to install falsework at the Ohio 320 overpass in preparation for bridge repairs.

Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will be closing the left and right lanes alternately in both the eastbound and westbound direction, and the single-lane restrictions are anticipated to be in effect through Aug. 28.
