Drug investigation leads to arrests

WEST ALEXANDRIA — After receiving complaints and tips, a short-term drug investigation into trafficking in methamphetamine led to the execution of a search warrant at 32 Quaker Trace Road, Lot #4 on Tuesday, Aug. 18. Deputies obtained a search warrant after an undercover purchase was made from the residents at the address.

Deputies recovered approximately four grams of suspected methamphetamine and evidence related to trafficking in drugs.

Formal charges were filed on the two suspects in this case on Wednesday, Aug. 19th in Eaton Municipal Court. They are as follows:

Nicholas L. Youtsey, age 42 and Nichole L. Sherer, age 37, both of 32 Quaker Trace Road, Lot #4, were charged with:

  • Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a 3rd Degree Felony.
  • Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, a 4th Degree Felony.
  • Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a 4th Degree Misdemeanor

Both defendants appeared in Eaton Municipal Court and have posted bond on the charges.

Two additional adults were arrested on outstanding warrants as well. Corey O. Morgan, age 48 of Camden, Ohio was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear from Preble County Common Pleas Court.

Beth A. Fultz, age 40 of Middletown, Ohio was arrested for possessing a drug abuse instrument, a second-degree misdemeanor, and an active warrant for failure to appear on child support.
