OXFORD — The following incident reports were filed by the Oxford Police Department last week:

May 9

Officer dispatched to 24 E. Rose Ave. on a report of a damaged vehicle.

Stop sign stolen from the corner of University Avenue and East Withrow Street.

Man reported gun stolen from his vehicle at 101 E. High Street.

May 10

Subjects at 302 N. Main Street reported damage to their cars and house.

Officer dispatched to 5201 College Corner Pike on a report of a theft.

Male reported receiving several phone calls from a person he testified against in court.

May 11

Officer observed a fight between two males in the 0 block of West Walnut Street. After identifying the males involved, it was discovered that both parties were under the age of 21 and highly intoxicated.

Female victim reported 21-speed mountain bike stolen from 700 S. Campus Avenue.

Officer met with complainant at 29 North Beech Street regarding damage to his sign which sits in the front yard near north Beech Street.

Officer met with the owner of a vehicle which was entered overnight at 1008 S. Locust Street. Items were taken from the car.

A woman reported she had gotten strange, unwanted text messages from a man she had recently met.

Officer met with a complainant at 602 S. Locust St. Apt. 74, regarding misuse of a credit card.

May 12

Unknown subject(s) entered 315 University Avenue and stole a laptop computer. There was also a set of golf clubs stolen from a vehicle parked on the street in front of the residence.

Subject shoplifted a can of pop from KDS store at 4985 College Corner Pike. Subject was identified and interviewed and confessed to the theft. Store management requested no charges be filed.

Kroger employees recognized a male who had stolen from inside their business in the past hide items in his pockets and walk out of the store without paying.

Threat reported at Talawanda Middle School.

Complainant found the rear passenger taillight to her vehicle broken out out while it was parked at Hawks Landing., 5262 Brown Road, Apt. J.

May 13

An 18-year-old female was found highly intoxicated at Brick Streeta nd taken to the hospital for treatment.

Officer responded to 45 East Bar and Grill on a report of a female passed out in the women’s restroom.

While patrolling the 0 block of South Main Street, officer noticed a male trying to open the locked door to a barber shop multiple times.

Victim reported damage to a vinyl fence to the rear of 219 E. Church Street.

Unknown subject(s) smashed the rear window of the victim’s vehicle with a rock at 208 E. High Street during the overnight hours.

Female subject attempted to shoplift items from Walmart.

Threat reported at Talawanda Middle School.

Alumni reported window guard taken from building at 401 E. Sycamore Street.

Reporting person stated her credit card was taken while friends were staying the night and was used to make several purchases the following day.

An intoxicated subject was taken into custody after refusing to leave Steinkeller Bar.

A subject knowingly did damage to a toilet at Brick Street Bar.

May 14

Oxford Township Police Officer located a manhole cover missing at the intersection of University Avenue and East Vine Street.

Male stopped following a suspicious incident. He was found to have been drinking while under age 21.

Male and female voluntarily intoxicated in public at 321 N. Beeche street, found with their pants down.

Officer responded to 219 E. Church Street on a report of property damage.

Male subject reported sleeping or passed out in a vehicle in the parking lot of Victoria Square Apartments. Further investigation led to a possession of marijuana charge.

May 15

Complainant stated while at 17 N. Poplar Street someone took his cell phone from his rear pocket.

A Rumpke Waste wheeler dumpster was stolen from the street area in front of the residence at 117 W. Withrow St. during the overnight hours.

A victim stated she was assaulted by her husband but refused to do a written statement and no signs of visible injury were observed.

An unknown person entered through an unlocked door and sprayed a fire extinguisher inside the house at 201 E. Church St. There was also a table flipped over and broken during the incident.

Male reported his moped missing from 209 S. College Ave.

Female victim had her wallet and six pack of alcohol stolen from a table in front of Bagel and Deli, 119 E. High St.
