OXFORD – Oxford Community Arts Center will be holding the second concert of its “TenSoCo” series Friday, Oct. 21, at 8 p.m.

“TenSoCo” is OCAC’s new concert series, meant to bring “fun and affordable concert experiences in a unique setting in this historic building at 10 South College Avenue.”

The event is $15 to enter (tickets can be bought prior to the event or at the door) and offers a cash bar that opens at 7pm.

The upcoming concert will feature RICKY NYE INC., featuring Ricky Nye on piano and vocals, with Chris Douglas on upright bass, Paul Ellis on drums, and Brian “Boss” Hogg on tenor sax.

They play a blend of traditional blues, boogie woogie, and classic New Orleans jazz and R&B.

Nye has been inducted into the International Boogie Woogie Hall of Fame, was voted “Blues Artist of the Year 2013 & 2014” in Cincinnati’s CEA Awards, and was voted “Best Local Musician” by CityBeat Magazine’s “Best of Cincinnati 2013 & 2014” reader’s poll.

OCAC promises a fun and unique family show.
