EATON — The Eaton FFA Chapter recently competed in the Agriculture Cooperatives Career Development Event (CDE) and received first in Ohio for this contest.

This CDE consisted of members attending several practices to learn about the basics of cooperatives and their importance, and finally putting forth their knowledge on a 75-question online test.

Besides placing first as a team, the individuals also did well. Katelyn Niehaus was the second place individual, Drew Kahle was 8th, Andrew Brooks was 12th, Trent Broermann was 61st, followed by Daphne Durham, Cole Whitesell, Blake Whitesell, and Houston Durham.

The Eaton FFA Chapter is proud of its members’ hard work and looks forward to what they will do in the future.

The Eaton-MVCTC FFA Chapter is a satellite of the Miami Valley Career Technology Center.
