Lakengren food drive

Lakengren employees are currently collecting food to donate to the local food bank. Collection runs through Nov. 30. Lakengren residents may donate food items through any Lakengren employee. Donations may be given directly to the chosen employee or dropped off at the guardhouse or Lakengren office. All donations must be received by 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 30. Basic items needed include meals in a can, tuna and canned meat, peanut butter, 100 percent fruit juices in single serve boxes or plastic bottles and canned fruits/vegetables. County Christmas Tour of Homes

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore and the Lewisburg Community Association have joined forces and are having a County Christmas Tour of Homes including homes in Eaton and Lewisburg. Camden Archive Open House

There will be an open house at the Eleanor I. Jones Archives (Camden Archives) at the Camden Library, 104 S. Main Street, Camden, on Tuesday, Dec. 8, from 3-5 p.m.

TCN Senior Citizens Holiday Luncheon

Tri-County North Local Schools has announced the 2015 Senior Citizen Holiday Luncheon is set for Friday, Dec. 4, at 12:30 p.m. in the Tri-County North High School/Middle School Cafeteria. The luncheon is hosted by the TCN Schools and supported by the Lewisburg Chamber of Commerce. All senior citizens in the Tri-County North Local School District are invited to attend the luncheon. Christmas Craft Show/Music Festival

The Eaton Community Schools Christmas Craft Show and Music Festival to benefit Eaton Athletic and Band Boosters will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 5-6 in the Eaton Performing Arts Center. Hours on Saturday are 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. There will be craft vendors, music, bake sale, raffles, concessions and photos with Santa available.

Meet the candidates

There will be a “Meet the Candidates Night” on Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 7 p.m. at Eaton High School. This event is sponsored by the Preble County Republican Party. Everyone is invited.
