Danielle Thomas

WILMINGTON — Danielle Thomas graduated from Wilmington College on May 11. She received her Bachelors in Agriculture Business. She will be starting a career at ADM in Michigan. Thomas is the daughter of Claude and Linda Thomas from West Manchester.

Austin Hammaker

DELAWARE — Austin Hammaker of Lewisburg, was inducted May 10 into Ohio Wesleyan University’s chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest academic honor society. The historic organization counts 17 U.S. presidents, 40 Supreme Court justices, and more than 140 Nobel laureates among its members. At Ohio Wesleyan, Hammaker studied biochemistry and pre-medicine/pre-dentistry.

Berea College Dean’s List

BEREA, KENTUCKY — More than 370 Berea College students were names to the Spring 2019 Dean’s List. A student is named to the Dean’s List who achieves a GPA of 3.4 or higher while passing at least four total credits, a course load equivalent to 16 semester hours. Local students named included: Brady Bateman of Lewisburg and Sean Zechar of Germantown.
