ASHLAND — Maria Kern of Eaton was named to Ashland University’s Dean’s list for the Spring 2019 semester. Kern is majoring in forensic biology and toxicology. She is a 2016 graduate of Eaton High School.

Shawnee State University graduates

PORTSMOUTH — On May 4, 419 Shawnee State University students graduated at the 2019 Spring Commencement Ceremony in Vern Riffe Center for the Arts Eloise Covert Smith Theater. During the Spring 2019 ceremony, four Master’s Degrees were awarded, 279 Bachelor’s Degrees, and 168 Associates Degrees. There were a total of 44 Summa Cum Laude, 60 Magna Cum Laude, and 76 Cum Laude graduates. Local graduates included: Madison Woodard, Eaton, Bachelor of Science Nursing, Hayleigh Worley, Eaton, Bachelor of Arts, Sociology.

LMU Dean’s List

HARROGATE, TENNESSEE — Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) has announced the Dean’s List for the Spring semester of 2019. To be placed on the Dean’s List, the student must be a full-time undergraduate and have a 3.5 grade point average for the semester. Over 500 students were recognized, including: Matthew Bridenbaugh of Brookville, Abigail Bruns of Lewisburg, and Carson Schumann of Farmersville.

McKenzie McCray

AMES, IOWA — Approximately 9,000 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the spring semester 2019 Dean’s List. Students named to the Dean’s List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work. Among them is Mckenzie Starr McCray of Eaton, a third-year student in Animal Science.
