TCN planning ‘My School Color Run’

LEWISBURG — The students of Tri-County North High School will walk, job and run their way toward a healthier life while raising funds for the school with the introduction of “My Color Run.”

The My Color Run program aims to go beyond traditional fundraising. Rather than sell goods, this program aims to engage the entire student body in a fitness initiative to instill a lifelong healthy way of living, according to organizers.

“We’re extremely excited about the launch of the My School Color Run Program at our school,” North’s Stephanie Caudill said. “We’re looking forward to involving our entire student body and faculty in a fun and healthy program. We want to engage the entire community and encourage local businesses and individual community members to get involved. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.”

The color run will be held on Saturday, May 21, at Lewisburg Community Park, 6464 Knapke Lane, and will be open to the public. This is an un-timed “fun run.” Racers will pass through several color stations throughout the course and will end with a color toss. Interested participants can register for the run by visiting TCNColorRun.eventbrite.com or by completing a paper registration form prior to the event. Anyone interested in more information or obtaining a copy of the registration form can contact Stephanie Caudill at [email protected].
