Kiwanis’ Dial A Santa a success

WEST ALEXANDRIA — The Kiwanis Club of West Alexandria thanks all those who participated in “Dial A Santa.” According to organizers, over 100 calls from children 2-11 years of age were transferred to the North Pole to talk to Santa during the two evenings of Dial A Santa.

The calls came from many areas including Lakengren, Eaton, Miamisburg, Germantown, New Lebanon, Lewisburg, and West Alexandria.

All of the children were extremely happy and anxious to talk to Santa. Santa reported that many different gifts were requested, such as an I-pod, puppy dog, football, board games, doll, and Legos.

One just asked for “everything.”

The Kiwanis members look forward to providing this service to the community next year.
