Pond Clinic planned

CLAYTON — Pond owners and anyone interested in learning more about ponds in general are invited to the 2018 Preble-Montgomery County Pond Clinic on Thursday, June 7.

The clinic will run from 5:30-8 p.m. at Meadowbrook Golf Club and Banquet Center, located at 6001 Salem Avenue, Clayton, at the intersection of Salem Avenue and Westbrook Road.

A free meal will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program. Presentations will include information on pond management from a representative of Aqua Doc Inc., discussion about wildlife issues from Trent Weaver, Wildlife Officer, pond and water safety and rescue from Ohio Task Force 1, and pond construction, repairs, and maintenance from Montgomery SWCD technicians.

The Pond Clinic, co-hosted by Preble and Montgomery SWCD, is free and open to everyone and will be held rain or shine. Activities will be provided for children
