I find it confusing and disturbing that all public buildings and businesses are required by Federal Law to comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act, which dictates that they must have handicapped access to their buildings.

The only public building in Eaton that I know of that does not comply to this law is the one operated by the Federal Government, the Post Office building. While suffering from a disability, which I hope to be only temporary, I have had to struggle up and down the steps of this building in order to utilize the Post Office services. I have witnessed others, elderly and disabled, ascending and descending these steps with great difficulty. Does anyone have an answer for this?
