Area man arrested on sex charge

LEWISBURG — Preble County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 48-year-old Lewisburg man after investigating a complaint involving allegations of sexual abuse involving a 15-year-old child.According to Sheriff Mike Simpson, the investigation occurred on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Deputies interviewed a juvenile who reported being sexually assaulted by a known subject on several occasions over the past year.The suspect was reported to have provided marijuana to the victim.

Pork Festival draws out-of-town crowd
