CAMDEN – 2-0.It may not seem like much to some, but for Preble Shawnee football coach Matt Hopkins, it means his program is headed in a positive direction.
CASSTOWN – After a week one upset, National Trail was hoping to get its football team moving in the right direction.
NEW PARIS — National Trail hosted Miami East on Thursday, Sept. 4, for a matchup in Cross County Conference play. The Lady Blazers lost, 5-2, to the Vikings.
EATON – The Eaton girls soccer club had a bittersweet week, losing to Lemon Monroe 7-0 on Tuesday, Sept. 2, before getting a big team win on the road, beating Oakwood 3-2 on Thursday, Sept. 4.
CAMDEN – The Preble Shawnee tennis team got a nice conference win last week, defeating Waynesville 3-2 in Southwestern Buckeye League Soutwestern Division play on Wednesday, Sept. 3.
TIFFIN – While many of the area schools were competing in the Brookville Invitational on Saturday, the Eaton varsity cross country team headed over to Tiffin, Ohio for the Tiffin Invitational.
BROOKVILLE – Several area schools, including Eaton, Twin Valley South, Tri-County North, and National Trail competed in the Brookville Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 6, at Brookville's Golden Gate Park.

CAMDEN – Preble Shawnee lost a league match this week for only the second time in three years. The Arrows fell to Dixie on Thursday, Sept. 4, in front of a large home crowd.
ST. HENRY — Eaton's football squad just couldn't seem to sustain any sort of momentum in their weekend contest against St. Henry, losing 41-14 and dropping to 1-1 on the season.

WEST ALEXANDRIA — The Twin Valley South varsity volleyball team continued to polish their unblemished record last week, as they sit at 7-0 (3-0) on the season.
EATON — The Eaton girls volleyball team started the week off on the wrong foot, but they were able to rally to win their next three matches.

LEWISBURG — Tri-County North, using their senior leadership and experience, was able to route visiting Ansonia 38-0 in Cross County Conference action at Good Samaritan Field in Lewisburg on Friday night.
