Early Bird Farmers Market to kick off

Downtown Eaton, Inc. is encouraging residents to support local growers and farmers by shopping at the downtown Eaton Early Bird Farmers Market.On Saturday, May 10, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., the Eaton Early Bird Farmers Market will open for its 12th year. This event is open every Saturday through mid-September from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. The market will offer fresh produce (including organic), honey, fresh baked goods such as rolls, cakes, pies, breads, cookies and homemade noodles. Also available will be greenhouse plants, fresh flowers, crafts and more.There are many benefits to buying local:
