Preble Shawnee: The Arrows dropped a league match when they were defeated by Madison at Weatherwax on Tuesday, Aug. 18, by a score of 216 to 180. Kyle Fryer recorded a 45 as the lowest scorer for Preble Shawnee, as Phillip Wilson of Madison shot a 41 for the lowest score of the day.

A match against Milton Union was rained out on Monday, Aug. 17, and rescheduled for Monday, Aug. 31. The match will be at Homestead Golf Couse.

National Trail:

Monday, Aug. 17, National Trail hosted Miami East and lost by a score of 190 to 170. This was the CCC opener and was hosted at Highland Lakes Golf Course in Richmond. Logan Petitt led National Trail shooting a 43 while Kley Karadak of Miami East shot a 37 to lead all scorers.

Tuesday, Aug. 18,National Trail traveled to Stillwater Ridge to take on the Newton Indians. Newton defeated National Trail by a score of 175-209. Issac Plakenhorn led National Trail, shooting a 47.

Thursday, Aug. 20, National Trail hosted Tri-County North, earning their first CCC win of the season. The Blazers won 196-187 with Logan Petitt shooting a season low 39 to lead all scores.

Friday, Aug. 21, National Trail traveled to Franklin Monroe and lost 194 to 170. The match was at Turtle Creek Golf Course where Logan Petitt shot a team low 46.

National Trail is now 2-3 overall and 1-3 in the Cross County Conference.
