GREENVILLE — Tri-County North, running with a depleted roster due to the Labor Day Weekend, ran in the Treaty City Invitational in Greenville on Saturday, Sept. 5.

North only had one girl available to run in Lindsay Owens, finishing 118th with a time of 34:22

The boys finished 15th overall as a team with 379 points.

Aidan Tomlin was the top finisher for the Panthers with a time of 19:26 to finish 31st. Rounding out the top five for North was Trenton Napier with a time of 22:21 to finish 106th, Patrick Timmons with a time of 22:34 to finish 108th, Bailey Hilt with a time of 22:36 to finish 110th, and Gregory Ras with a time of 22:52 to finish 118th.

“I’m not satisfied where we’re at, and as a coach I shouldn’t be. However, I am not disappointed as we have a pack of six to seven guys that should be able to shave some time off to get to a competitive state,” said head coach Tim Martin. “I believe the reality of not building a base over the summer is hitting home. They work hard for me and over the next few weeks, it will be even more intense to get to a level where we should be.”

North is scheduled to travel to the Brookville Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 12.
