Scoring from both teams was held to a minimum when Eaton traveled to Valley View on Tuesday, Sept. 19. Both teams were held without a goal until the final minute of play. Howard scored the game winner with 55 seconds remaining, off of an assist from Gard.

On the following Thursday, Eaton handed Monroe its lone blemish in SWBL play. The Eagles played the Hornets to a 1-1 tie. Both teams scored goals in the first half, including an Eaton goal from Sullender, assist to Caleb Caplinger. The defenses took over the game in the second half as the 1-1 score became the final.
