WEST MILTON — Twin Valley South’s boys and girls track teams claimed Division III district titles on Saturday, May 19, at the Milton-Union District.

The Panthers boys team racked up 112 points to outdistance runner-up Arcanum (87) by 25 points. South’s girls scored 100 points to finish 23 points ahead of Arcanum (70).

Tri-County North’s girls were third with 69 points, just a point shy of Arcanum, Preble Shawnee was 10th with 27.

North’s boys were 11th with 20 point and National Trail was 16th with 5.

South’s boys scored double digit points in the 800-meter run, 400 meters, 1,600, shot put, high jump and pole vault.

South’s girls scored double digit points in the 100-meters, 800, 400 and 200.

The regional meet will be held Wednesday, May 23 and Friday, May 25 at Troy High School.
