Two Arrows placed third — Monebrake in the 120 pound weight class and Tanner Crabtree in the 195 pound weight division.

The team just missed out on the trophy at the meet, finishing 5.5 points behind second place Dixie, a team Follick said is someone to look out for in the SWBL and sectional.

Division I Cincinnati La Salle won the meet, outscoring the Arrows by 11 points.

Follick described the opening week as a very solid performance for his team.

The team is back in action at the LCC Holiday tournament at Lima Central Catholic High School on Tuesday, Dec. 29.

Preble Shawnee is also hosting a JV Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 19, starting at 10 a.m. and will host a Pee Wee tournament on Sunday, Dec. 20.
