EATON — The Preble County Stingrays hosted the Miamisburg Gators, winning their meet 311 to 169 on Tuesday, June 16, at the Eaton Community Pool.

The first place winners were as follows:

In the six and under category, Noelle Bassler won races in the 25-meter freestyle and the 25-meter backstroke.

For the girls’ ages seven and eight, Olivia Cochran won three races, taking first in the 25-meter butterfly, 25-meter breaststroke, and the 25 back. Emily Haynes also placed first in the 25 free.

For the boys in that age group, Austin Peace won his three races – taking the top spot in the 25 free, 25 breast, and 25 fly. Ben Todd took first in the 25 back as well.

In the nine and 10 age group, Josey Meeks won her three events on the girls’ side. She placed first in the 100-meter individual medley, the 50-meter freestyle, and the 25 fly. Rachel Honaker was first in the 25 free and Emma Slade was the top placer in the 25 back.

Elliott Voge took first in two events for the boys’ side, winning the 25 breast and 50 free.

The girls’ ages 11 and 12 had one first place finisher in Rebekah Honaker, who took first in the 25 breast. For the boys in that age group, Clayton Kiracofe was first in the 100-meter individual medley, 50 free, and 25 fly. Hayden Bratton was first in the 25 breast.

In the 13 and 14 age group, four separate girls took first in four events – Tatum Durbin won the 100 IM while Lydia Fadden was first in the 50 free. In the 100 free, it was Abby Liddy taking the top slot while Shelby Slade was number one in the 50 fly.

On the boys’ side, Tyler Gregory won his three events while Aaron Scholl was first in two of his. Gregory was first in the 50 free, 50 breast, and 50 fly while Scholl was top placer in 50 back and 100 free. Jacob Doty was first in the 100 IM as well.

In the 15 and up category, Callie McGargish was first in the 100 IM, 50 back, and 100 free. Sasha Taxter won two events, earning top honors in the 50 free and 50 fly. Lauren Ferguson was first in the 50 breast as well.

For the boys, Mason McGargish was first in his three events, winning the 50 free, 50 back, and 100 free. Drew Pool took first in the 100 IM while Andrew Ferguson was first in the 50 breast.

The Stingrays match on Thursday, June 18 was cancelled due to weather.
