RICHMOND, INDIANA — Forty-seven Indiana University East student-athletes earned Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Conference Scholar-Athlete distinction for the 2015-16 school year.
To earn the award, student-athletes must maintain a grade-point average of 3.25 or higher, compete in a KIAC championship sport and be nominated by their athletic department.
IU East’s All-Conference Scholar-Athlete total is the highest in program history. More than 40 percent of all Red Wolf student-athletes made the list. The IU East athletic department earned a 3.07 cumulative GPA for the 2015-16 school year.
Seven Red Wolf seniors earned the All-Conference Scholar-Athlete award for the fourth time. Among them was tennis player Ethan Taulbee, Camden, a graduate of Preble Shawnee High School.

Women’s basketball: Kaitlin Dobbins, Bailey Dreiman, Tia King, Kristen Miller, Adrianna Moore, Preble Shawnee High School; Keragan Niehoff and Libby Springmier, Eaton High School.
Men’s cross country/track and field: Adam Klipstine, Seth Reynolds, Eaton High School.
Women’s cross country/track and field: Kaylee Simpson, National Trail High School.
Men’s tennis: Seth Gard, Connor Kramer, Alex Shelley and Ethan Taulbee .
Women’s tennis: Brittany Hethcox, Rebecca Lockhart, Oxford, Talawanda High School and Sarah Lockhart, Oxford, Talawanda High School.
