LIBERTY, INDIANA — The Preble Shawnee golf team had a non-league match against Lemon-Monroe on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at Liberty Country Club. The Arrows lost the match, 226-164.

“Even though we lost the match by 61 strokes, the boys keep improving,” coach Roy Lucas said.

Medalist for Monroe was Sammy Blackburn 39. Preble Shawnee was lead by Michael Fritts with a 53. The remainder of Preble Shawnee’s scores included: Craig Doty, 55; Luke Woodard, 58; Jordan Dobbins, 60; Jarod Barnes, 60 and Dakota Keeler, 79.

Shawnee’s next match was set for Thursday, Sept 8, a Southwestern Buckeye League match-up against Waynesville, at the Majestic Golf Club.
