NT beats Northridge in volleyball action

NEW PARIS — The National Trail Lady Blazers volleyball team defeated Northridge on Monday night, Sept. 26, in three sets 25-13, 25-14, and 25-11.

Leading the way offensively for Trail were Lexi Stiner, who had six kills with seven service aces, and Ariel Lee, who had eight service aces.

Shania Jordan led the team in assists with 10. Defensively, Risa Griffin had six digs.

“This is a good win for us,” said Trail coach Joy Yeazel. “Despite this win, we have a very good team coming up. We have a lot of work to do in practice.”

The Lady Blazers are now 4-11 overall, and were scheduled to host the top team in the Cross County Conference, Miami East, on Thursday, Sept. 29.
