Bank donates to charities

The Twin Valley Bank, with branches located in West Alexandria and Gratis, donated a total of $1,500 to three local charities on Friday, Dec. 11. Home is The Foundation, Jacobs Ladder and The Preble County Council on Aging all received $500 from the local bank. Employees at the two branches paid $1 to wear jeans on Fridays and Saturdays since November of 2014. Marketing Coordinator Lynn Udovich said about 17 employees helped raised $750 and the bank matched the employees contribution. The bank also accepts donations for the West Alexandria Food Bank and Gratis Food Bank and will start the fundraiser over.
