MVCTC names Electives, Business, Information Technology, Agriculture Students of the Month

ENGLEWOOD — The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) Electives, Business, Information Technology, and Agriculture (EBITA) Department under the leadership of Supervisor David Peltz, recognizes a “Student of the Month” each month during the school year. The award honors outstanding accomplishments and leadership in Career Tech Education.

September EBITA Students of the Month included:

Josie Zamora (Wayne High School), Azzuri Jackson (Wayne High School), and Cody Moore (Eaton High School), were recognized for being outstanding representatives of their respective career tech programs.

Josie Zamora, Wayne High School, is the MVCTC FFA Chapter Reporter. Veterinary Science Instructor Dr. Christa Nealeigh, detailed Josie’s work ethic: “Josie is an extremely hard worker and works to perform the best in every detail of her work.” As the Chapter Reporter, Josie seeks out all programs and their exciting news to help get out the good word on the great things happening in FFA at MVCTC.

Azzuri Jackson (Wayne High School), and Cody Moore (Eaton High School), both recently passed the Cisco Certified Technician Routing and Switching exam in order to become certified in this area. Computer Network Engineering Program Instructor, John Underwood, stated: “These two senior students have studied very hard to achieve this prestigious Cisco certification and they are to be commended for their efforts.”

The students received a plaque to honor their accomplishments as well as a certificate from Buffalo Wild Wings. CTC officials congratulate the students on their accomplishments and give special thanks to BW3 for their recognition of their students of the month.
